Welcome to The GOATs Basketball Club

We are an emerging Basketball Club in Bendigo, Victoria, that focuses on Men's, Women's and Mixed competitions. If you're interested in entering a Junior team, there are several in Bendigo and we suggest that you contact them.

Our aim is to eventually register as a Basketball Club with the Bendigo Basketball Association, however, we need 7 teams to achieve this. 

We recognise that there are many men and women in Bendigo who know they will never be NBL players but still want to enjoy Basketball and continue to develop their skills. Currently there isn't a group that arranges training for adults and we seek to change that because we believe that:

• Everyone can build on their existing skills
• Anyone can return to the game of Basketball regardless of how long it's been
• You can start playing basketball at any age
• Training is as important as games for improving skills
• Winning is fun but improving each day is better
• Good coaching on a good court is worth sharing the costs

Our 'default' team colours are Black, White and Gold but you can join the club with your existing team name and uniforms. We're interested in generating a critical mass that can support hiring and running training sessions for adults at all skill levels.
